Traitors to the American people, Europeans, and most especially, the Ukrainian people, Democratic ideals, and human decency. I am disgusted by Trump and Rubio and their betrayal of the Ukrainian people. But from them, I expect it. The Republicans who support Trump have sold their souls.

Trump and his people are like kindergartners trying to play ‘big boy’ games when it comes to dealing with Putin.

What Rubio is doing is considerably worse than what happened with Neville Chamberlain. We have to remember that Mr. Chamberlain lived through "The Great War". He saw the young people who died in the trenches & on the battlefield. Europe lost almost an entire generation due to that war which solved none of the problems that caused it. That war just shuffled the deck & moved chess pieces around, to mix my metaphors, so that new countries controlled colonies of old enemies. I'm sure he & a lot of European countries just didn't want to start another war. The old "War to end all wars" was just 20 years prior. The national memories of that conflict had to affect how governments reacted to the threats Hitler posed.

Rubio on the other hand has no such excuse. He is not trying to avoid a repeat of a terrible war. He is just being the loyal lackey with no moral compass, no spine just a bended knee to the dear leader.

IMO, Trump is a Russian asset. Don't listen to him.

Alex,

Thank you for laying out the truth of this situation. Trump is only interested in two things, an undeserved peace prize and enhancing an imagined ‘friendship’ with Putin. He doesn’t give a damn about the Russian or Ukrainian people, peace or anything else that doesn’t enrich or falsely glorify him in some dishonest or immoral way. This delusional orange idiot will be the direct cause of a WWIII.

I’m not a diplomat and all of this seems insane to me. The very idea of the US pretending to be neutral and an honest broker with some kind of inalienable right to determine the outcome of the war is ungodly. Why is this allowed to continue? Why aren’t the Coalition of the Willing telling Trump to butt out? Why isn’t the EU taking charge? They know Putin doesn’t give a damn about negotiating a genuine peace and is playing for advantage and time to rebuild his war machine. Is Europe still asleep at the wheel and thinking they can do something to change Trump’s character or do you think they are working on something of a confidential security nature to assist Ukraine and stop this unjustified genocide. Things are critical for several family members there and I fear the worst if something isn’t done soon. Please if at all possible, give me something on which I can pin my hopes for our futures and that I can believe we’re going to survive this.

I weep for Ukraine and President Zelensky who I hope will stay as strong as he can. I don't even know what to say anymore.

Witkoff? Is he not the most comprised Alexander? He meets with Putin alone? Checking in on Signal-gate from Moscow when he was probably sitting next to Putin as they were laughing as he typed emojis? A picture of him with his hand over his heart to him?

Let's see this brilliant diplomat in 100 days with his 3 tasks:

Sold out Ukraine to Putin.

Israel/Hamas? Trump must have really terrified Hamas when he screamed "you're dead if you don't return the hostages...and not in dribs and drabs". Where are the hostages???? And not one more word about Trump Gaza. MBS probably put the kibosh on that.

Iran? G-d help us if he is trying to win the heart and mind of the Ayatollah.

Between Trump/Witkoff/Hegseth/Musk I am sick. Our country. The world. They blew everything up and for what???

Alexander, Putin will die, but what comes after him? I'm afraid to even ask.

I never had a chance earlier to comment. But this makes me angrier than anything that the regime has done, except for their treatment of President Zelensky in the Oval Office.

To give up Crimea, a beautiful area in a treasured nation, is criminal. Putin attacked Ukraine, completely unprovoked, while Ukraine has bravely fought back. Ukraine under Zelensky’s leadership has masterfully defended its land and people. It has survived despite the uneven numbers, and the imbalance in the architecture of warfare.

I am thoroughly ashamed by the orange monster and his henchmen. I pray that Ukraine can continue to resist and fight the sick Putin, another monster. None of this will end well. I hope Ukraine prevails without the US, as our government reneges on military aid and support. 🇺🇦

This is another example of Trump betraying the Ukrainian people. He must be opposed in virtually everything he does. He is a disgrace to America and the sooner he is consigned to the dustbin of history the better.

This scripture comes to mind when considering Trump & Chumps …

2 Tim. 3:13 — while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

— they are certainly evil, and proving to be impostors of true diplomats - caving to Putin at the slightest sign of disapproval from either him or Trump - a ‘Win’ for Trump at any cost to others!

— Ever fearful of their own inadequacy they seek refuge in their bubble of delusion & self-congratulation.

— my prayers are with Zelensky, Ukrainians🌾 & the Vindman family. 🌺🌿

HCR’s post, dated April 23, reminds us of how the Demented Russian Fat Orange Clown (Dr FOCer) joined himself and our Democracy to his Master Vladimir. He is indebted to the former KGB agent who got him elected with the help of American grown oligarchs. Vlad now seems to mentoring him to be another senile dictator.

[Just as a reminder here HCR reviews what occurred almost ten years ago and then brings us up to the situation we see today. As one who volunteered fifty years ago to serve and spent 42 months in USAF security it is disappointing and distressing to see what almost half the country’s voters created today for my country and for Ukraine to endure. HCR’s history review started:

“This U.S.-backed plan echoes almost entirely the plan Russian operatives presented to Trump’s 2016 campaign manager Paul Manafort in exchange for helping Trump win the White House. Russia had invaded Ukraine in 2014 and was looking for a way to grab the land it wanted without continuing to fight.”]

I tie all of the events of the First 100 Days as the first steps to their biggest goal…Overturn the US Democracy.

I take everything being done, including the abandonment of Ukraine, as preludes to what is being planned for 2026 and 2028. They are the distractions that will be used as building blocks for their Fourth Reich if many in positions of power and with wealth do not become more active to fight it.

Systematically they now control all of law enforcement national defense and its fire power at many levels. Political, legal and illegal acts are being committed by all levels of government to foment resistance, civil unrest, increase major crime, and intensify violence of every nature. What do governments do when this occurs? Their answer is curfews, illegal raids and arrests, martial law, states of emergency etc.

Then what is the biggest and grandest right that is aborted? An executive order that states that all elections have to be cancelled or at least postponed until the nation is calm again. That’s how a dictator gets a third term and more than likely becomes President for Life.

None of the elected Patriotic Opposition seems to be voicing this possibility. None of the media are rendering scenarios or opinions about this possibility. No groups are posing hypotheticals and wanting to know if it could occur or what can be done if it does.

In the 1930s did the Nisei foresee what their life would be a few years later? Did the majority of European Jews have any defense as they were isolated and removed in the 1940s? How many minorities including immigrants (from 2021 to January 2025) were ready for what started on January 20th?

Project 2025 is not a handicrafts manual. Time to stop wasting time on skirmishes and get ready for a major offensive.

Or just keep tracking the cost of eggs and gas as you hope for the best.

So, US security guarantees entered into to encourage Ukraine to give up nuclear arsenal on its soil to Russia are now worthless? Of course. That’s the American way. Corrupt, unreliable losers. So what does Conold think Zelensky is going to do? Agree. Shut up you fool. Of course not. Europe will continue to support Ukraine because its knows Putin is on his last legs. And because Conold has shown himself to be a gutless loser beholden to Putin. So is Conold going to help Russian ambitions in Ukraine? Can’t see that going down too well either. Conold can’t force Ukraine to accept a surrender to Russia. Russia can’t win on the battlefield. Ukraine can continue with European hello. Leaving Conold and America like Charlie Brown. Flat their respective asses. Good job Conold. Loser.
