A riveting conversation with Marquis de Lafayette, a huge Vindman supporter
Today I had the pleasure of campaigning for my brother in Virginia’s 7th district. Early voting closes for Virginians today and at this stage in the race, every vote counts. I had the pleasure of speaking with Virginians and visitors from countless states on the grounds of the Montpelier Steeplechase.
I’m happy to report that Eugene had many, many supporters throughout the crowd. Voters across Virginia’s 7th district are ready to reject Project 2025 and push back against the MAGA agenda - both of which would be rubber-stamped by my brother’s opponent. Additionally, I am happy to announce that many of the voters we spoke with have already voted. The threat of a second Trump presidency has mobilized voters and Americans are ready to reject the MAGA Agenda.Â
After today, I’m feeling good about this election. This is not an invitation to rest on our laurels or inspire false confidence but rather, a reflection of the energy and atmosphere I felt when speaking with voters. People are excited. From my observations today, young voters and women are especially enthusiastic about voting against the prospect of a second Trump presidency. If the record-breaking turnout from early voting seen in states like Virginia continues, we can be sure of a Harris victory this Tuesday.Â
The campaign continues: tomorrow we will be canvassing and speaking throughout the district. I can’t wait to meet more voters and make the case for my brother, Eugene. Although the stakes are high this election, politics doesn’t have to be a spectator sport - there is still time to find ways to volunteer with your local campaigns and fight for what you believe in.
Thanks for the encouraging report!
