My Interview with CNN's Jim Acosta

Misguided isolationists often question why we should support Ukraine’s fight for survival. The truth is, not only is supporting Ukraine the morally right thing to do, it is also imperative for our own national security interests. Putin is a maniacal dictator who will stop at nothing in his efforts to expand his power, unless we step up. Supporting a Ukrainian victory is our obligation as a democratic ally, but it is also the best way to ensure that no U.S. troops get dragged into a broader European war. Our dedication to Ukraine sends clear signals to authoritarians in Beijing and the Middle East that we will not sit quietly as they assault democracies around the world. Unfortunately, Kremlin talking points are now being parroted within the halls of Congress by MAGA Representatives. We must all continue to push the Congresspeople who still support democracy to pass the aid bill now.
