Today is Congress’ Last Chance to Deliver Timely Security Aid

Today the House is expected to hold four votes. One vote will be on a proposed ban of TikTok, while the other three will be separate defense aid packages for Israel, Taiwan, and Ukraine. These votes come after weeks of Russian advances in Eastern Ukraine and days after a massive drone and missile attack on Israel by Iran.

We could have avoided this entire debacle months ago. The GOP has needlessly obstructed and delayed a combined security package that would have provided security assistance to America’s allies in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. During this process useful idiots and armchair generals like Elon Musk, David Sacks, and JD Vance went out of their way to convince the public that the path to peace involves American isolation and denying victory to our allies.
