The Right Choice for America

Dear readers,

It’s been a busy summer. Describing the political developments of the past few weeks as “dramatic” would be an understatement and like many of you, I found myself wondering what would come after President Biden endorsed Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential nominee. The wait is over: Vice President Harris has selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate and I, for one, wholeheartedly support this decision.

Governor Walz has shown himself to be willing to fight for a progressive agenda and deliver meaningful policy to the state of Minnesota. As governor, Tim Walz supported common sense gun laws, removed legal restrictions that would limit access to abortion and infringe upon a woman’s right to choose, and signed a bill into law that would guarantee universal free lunches for children throughout the state. These policies reflect a genuine interest in the common good and advancing the lives of the average person and are a sharp contrast to the naked greed a…
