Another Temper Tantrum from the Former President and the MAGA World
One thing we learned last week is that Donald Trump doesn’t remember being President during Russia’s War in Ukraine.
More specifically, Donald Trump, his advisors, and his fans don’t realize that the war in Ukraine began in 2014 with the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Eastern Ukraine. Trump entered office just before the third anniversary of the invasion and was President during the 2018 Kerch Strait Incident where Russian forces conducted an unprovoked attack on Ukrainian naval forces navigating the Kerch Strait. Strange, since I vividly remember Trump’s complete paralysis in responding to that crisis. Oh, and then there were the multiple briefings on Russia and Ukraine and the War that I personally prepared for him. And then, of course, there was the scheme to steal the 2020 election. Trump attempted to extort President Zelenskyy, who was fighting a war and asking for weapons, into announcing an investigation into then Presidental candidate Biden, so that Trump could taint Biden with corruption allegations.
